Offshore Cable Engineer
Company Description
Why Statkraft?
Statkraft is pursuing a strategy to become an industrial developer and operator of offshore wind in Northern Europe, and is building a portfolio and organisation to deliver this. We take a market-centric approach to our activities, building positions where we have complementary skills in development, route to market, and operations and maintenance. We will build scale to be competitive and continue to pursue new opportunities together with our partners.
We have a strong and growing portfolio of projects in Ireland (together with our partners Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners), and are determined to play a major role in the growth of offshore wind in Norway, initially through the bidding process in Sørlige Nordsjø II (together with Aker and BP) and Utsira Nord (together with Aker and Ocean Winds). The increased ambition by Norwegian Government to develop in total 30 GW offshore wind in Norway by 2040 represents a large opportunity for Statkraft. We will also pursue an industrial role in Ireland and explore opportunities in other markets.
But there’s more work to be done – that’s why we need you to join us.
