The opportunity
The Marketing Automation Specialist will support the EY Martech team with tactical execution of campaigns end to end, process improvements and educating users on campaign best practices. This individual must have experience with supporting email marketing campaigns and using various digital marketing tools such as Marketo with a strong interest in data management and analytics. The individual must be flexible, motivated, have high attention to detail and must have a proven track record of working effectively with teams, and with senior leaders across the business to execute and report on campaigns. This individual must have a passion for technology, enjoys learning and loves adapting to change in the digital space.
Your key responsibilities
- Build and execute Marketing Automation campaigns with varying complexities and sizes.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all relevant content, assets and target audience parameters are received for campaign execution.
- Regular reporting to key stakeholders on the performance of marketing automation campaigns and website performance.
- Ensure that system updates and new governance are communicated, understood, and followed by key stakeholders.
- Act as a brand champion, ensuring that all external campaigns and online content support the firm’s brand and business strategy and compliant to risk and quality safeguards set by EY.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and developments by conducting research, engaging in training, building relationships with partners, and participating in industry learnings and webinar.
- Assist with marketing administration and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills and attributes for success
- Must be a detail-oriented, organized self-starter who can work well within a team, and excel in a fast-paced corporate environment, whilst being able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to review processes and make suggestions for automation.
- Good technical skills and expertise with email campaign deployments.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and must be comfortable with presenting to virtual teams.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Must ensure adherence to EYs data privacy policies, processes, and regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Familiarity with complex, multi-national organizations is highly preferred.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Hands-on experience in Marketo, handling complex campaigns
- Experience of managing teams in a Shared services environment with understanding of internal charge back models
- Strong communication skills and collaboration mind-set

- Willingness to learn and growth mind-set
Ideally, you’ll also have
- B2B marketing experience and good understanding of how digital marketing and media help strengthen brand, build relationships, and drive revenue growth.
- Understanding of any event platform tool like on24/cvent
- Understanding of any other B2b marketing automation tools Eloqua
- Understanding of analytics tool like PowerBI or Google analytic
What we look for
- A university degree or college diploma in Digital Marketing or a related field.
- 2-3 years’ experience in using Marketo as a platform.
