Base Salary $49,735.00 - $62,112.00 p.a plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (pro rata based on the part time hours above )

About the role

The General Assistant Toolstoreperson is responsible for providing high level customer service to support the effective and efficient delivery of educational programs. This position may be required to work to a roster and to carry out manual handling activities. This position contributes to the daily operational needs of the section.

We currently have a Temporary Part Time, Part Year (14 hours/week for 36 weeks of the year) opportunity available until December 2024 located at our Mudgee Campus.

About You

To succeed in the role, you must have some experience working within the trade environment or related work areas.

You will be required to use your strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and service providers. You are a self-driven and disciplined individual who will take ownership of your tasks without supervision and apply your advanced organisational skills to plan, maintain and support the practical delivery within the facility.

To be successful in this role your submission must address the Essential Requirements as outlined in the Position Description:

1. Experience within a specific trade section or related work areas.

2. Previous experience in receipt, issue and maintenance of trade tools and equipment.

3. Previous experience in store layout, procedures and maintenance of store records including stock control.

4. Ability to work as a team member and/or with limited supervision.

It is highly desirable that you have some Construction Industry experience as well as a forklift license, however not essential.
