ISMMART Sports Industries, a dynamic and innovative startup in the sports industry, is establishing its presence in Istanbul, Turkey. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Production. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee our production operations, drive operational excellence, and ensure the delivery of high-quality sports products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Define production targets, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency.
- Oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, and quality control.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of production professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to enhance employee skills and promote a high- performing team.
- Establish and maintain robust quality control systems and processes to ensure the production of high-quality sports products.
- Monitor product quality, conduct regular inspections, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize material procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components to support production schedules.
- Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare regular production reports for senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 8 years in production management roles within the sports industry or related sectors.
- Experience in managing production operations, driving process optimization, and leading teams.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving production goals.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and quality control methodologies.
- Strong understanding of quality control systems, quality assurance processes, and product testing.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining quality standards in production operations.
- Proficiency in collaborating with supply chain teams to ensure efficient material procurement and inventory management.
- Knowledge of supplier relationship management and supplier performance evaluation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze production data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
