Job Description
- Ensure financial reporting processes and quality are upheld in all countries.
- Strengthen internal controls through policy implementation and audit remediation.
- Spearheaded financial initiatives, process standardization, and system upgrades.
- Improve working capital and cash flow through strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with tax and treasury departments to develop a comprehensive treasury strategy.
- Manage budgeting and accounting for the regional office.
- Evaluate M&A, joint ventures, and new business opportunities from a financial perspective.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting, and a qualified accountant.
- 12-15 years of finance experience, including financial reporting, internal controls, and finance systems and processes.
- SE Asia experience in a multinational company.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Experience in multi-country or multi-business unit finance is a plus.
- Strong collaboration skills to work across a diverse portfolio of countries.
- Ability to develop financial controls and reporting capabilities across the organization.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with good knowledge of SAP.
