This job contributes to Starbucks success by leading the development of tactical and strategic demand plans to achieve customer service, supply chain and financial objectives. Ensures that the right product is in the right place at the right time in the right quantities to meet customer demand. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
As a demand planner, you will…
- Create demand plans to supporting the Siren Retail business using demand planning tool parameters and functionality.
- Reports forecast accuracy of demand plans and identify root causes and recommend actions to improve accuracy.
- Recommends supply chain processes for improvement in areas impacting customer service, supply chain efficiencies, and inventory.
- Present weekly/monthly business results to cross functional team.
- Recommend new courses of action to improve overall business results.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- Experience in supply and/or demand planning – minimum of 3 years
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to drive for closure on issues that prevent supply meeting demand
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing to internal customers
- Communicates changes in demand plans to the supply chain quickly and effectively
