Night Manager- The Hardiman
The Night Manager’s role is a key position within the management team and involves dealing with guest enquiries, ensuring guest comfort, safety and security at all times. The manager must principally ensure adherence to the night audit procedures as laid out by the Front Office Manager.
Duties Include:
- Overall responsibility for Customer Service, Fire, Health & Safety at night
- Dealing with late check-ins and early check outs
- Ensuring the building is secure
- Ensuring that guest privacy and security is adhered to at all times
- Control switchboard
- Maintain fire register
- Ensuring night porters duties are carried out thoroughly and assisting in duties
- Post of relevant F&B bills
- Bar
- Cash handling
- Instilling customer service ethic in all staff
The successful candidate will have an energetic hands-on approach to work in the hotel with a good atmosphere in a very busy environment. We are looking for a strong team motivator with a track record in training and high standards. The successful candidate will be outgoing with excellent guest contact. You will have strong people management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Experience with Opera is desirable.
