Market Research Specialist (Hybrid) [Philippines]


 

Qualifications
● At least 3 years of experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
● Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or other related fields
● Experience in using analytics and market intelligence tools such as AppAnnie, SimilarWeb, and PitchBook is a plus
● Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
● Ability to relay data in a visualized way, and use gathered insights to clearly pull together a story
● Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including experience with conducting interviews and presenting research and analysis to executives
● Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions

Job Description
● Maintain and validate original market landscape and sizing, competitive landscape and analysis, and target market and their jobs-to-be-done for existing ventures
● Integrate primary and secondary data as well as passive data collection (e.g. revenue trends, marketing metrics, etc.) and active data collection (e.g. surveys, FGDs, IDIs) to provide recommendations on how to steer ventures’ strategies
● Conduct desk research, moderate focus group discussions/interviews, and craft discussion guides to better understand customers and validate their pain points
● Organize gathered data and insights for presentation to the leadership team and other stakeholders
● Provide market research to support existing ventures and early-stage portfolio companies
● Understand industry trends and new technologies with an appreciation for the digital ecosystem and economy
● Manage data-based conclusions that take the guesswork out of the business decisions to better meet customer needs
● Provide insights on how to resolve business questions regarding customer behavior, perception, satisfaction, product design & new opportunities
● Quickly recommend adjustments to ideas and how they are executed based on the latest data

Skills

  • Monday to Friday

  • Taguig: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
